Acceptable Use Policy

What we send

Borks sends B2B cold email to business email addresses on behalf of our clients. All campaigns are:

  • Targeted to business professionals at their work email addresses
  • Compliant with CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), and GDPR (EU/UK)
  • Sent from authenticated domains with proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
  • Limited to B2B offers, services, and professional communications
  • Clearly identified with sender name, company, and physical address

What we won't send

We will not send campaigns for the following categories:

  • B2C marketing to personal email addresses
  • Cryptocurrency ICOs, token sales, or speculative investment offers
  • Multi-level marketing (MLM) or network marketing
  • Adult content or services
  • Gambling or online betting
  • Pharmaceutical or controlled substance offers
  • Deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading content
  • Political campaigns or advocacy
  • Anything illegal under applicable jurisdiction

If a proposed campaign falls outside our acceptable use criteria, we will notify the client and decline the engagement. This is non-negotiable.

Opt-outs

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe mechanism. Opt-out requests are honored within 24 hours. Unsubscribed addresses are added to a permanent suppression list and will never receive another campaign email from that client. We maintain suppression lists at both the client and global level.

Complaints

If you receive an unwanted email from a Borks-managed campaign, please contact abuse@borks.io. We investigate every complaint within one business day. Include the email you received and we will ensure your address is suppressed immediately.

Violations

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy by a client is grounds for immediate termination of services without refund. Violations include: providing misleading ICP criteria to circumvent this policy, sending prohibited content categories, targeting personal email addresses, or any use that damages our sending infrastructure reputation.
