Borks Marketing LLC ("Borks," "we," "us") is a managed B2B cold email service headquartered at 633 Pierce Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with our website (borks.io) and services.

Data we collect from our clients

When you engage Borks as a client, we collect: your name, email address, company name, billing information, and any data you provide for campaign execution (target audience criteria, messaging preferences, CRM credentials). This data is used solely to deliver and optimize our services.

Data we handle on behalf of clients

In the course of running cold email campaigns, we process prospect data on your behalf: names, email addresses, job titles, company information, and engagement data (opens, replies, clicks). This data is processed as a data processor under your direction. We do not sell or share this data with third parties except as required to deliver the service (our private sequencer infrastructure and enrichment providers).

Website data collection

We collect standard web analytics data through cookies and third-party tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) including: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on site, and referring URL. We use this data to improve our website and marketing. You can opt out of tracking by disabling cookies in your browser settings.

How we use your data

We use collected data to: deliver and optimize our services, communicate with you about your campaigns, send service-related updates, improve our website, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use client data or prospect data for our own marketing without explicit consent.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, role-based access controls, regular security audits, and encrypted backups. Access to client data is restricted to team members who require it for service delivery.

Data retention

We retain client data for the duration of the engagement plus 12 months for operational and legal purposes. Prospect data processed on behalf of clients is retained for the duration of the engagement and deleted or returned within 30 days of termination unless otherwise agreed. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your personal data, request correction or deletion, object to processing, request data portability, and opt out of data sales (we do not sell personal data).
