Domain Warmup

Domain warmup that actually gets you to the primary inbox.

Buying 10 domains and blasting emails on day one is how you end up in spam forever. Our 14-day protocol builds real sender reputation so your campaigns start in the inbox, not the junk folder.

Why warmup matters more than you think

Every new domain starts with zero reputation. Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo don't know if you're legitimate or a spammer. Warmup is the process of proving you're real -- by sending and receiving real engagement signals over time. Skip it or rush it and your campaigns will never reach the primary inbox. Our protocol runs for 14 days minimum, using engagement simulation that mirrors organic email behavior patterns.

The warmup protocol

  1. 1

    Domain & DNS setup

We configure SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and custom tracking domains on every sending domain. Proper authentication is the foundation of deliverability.

  2. 2

    Gradual volume ramp

Starting at 5-10 emails per day per inbox, we gradually increase volume over 14 days. Volume ramp follows a curve calibrated to each inbox provider's reputation algorithms.

  3. 3

    Engagement simulation

Our warmup network generates opens, replies, and inbox moves on your warmup emails. These positive signals teach inbox providers that your domain sends wanted mail.

  4. 4

    Seed testing & validation

Throughout warmup, we run daily seed tests to verify inbox placement across Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo. Campaigns don't launch until placement consistently hits 85%+.

Frequently asked questions

Why 14 days? Can you warm up faster?

14 days is the minimum for building stable sender reputation across all major inbox providers. Shorter warmup periods lead to unstable placement that craters when you start sending real volume.

How many domains do I need?

Depends on your target volume. We typically recommend 3-5 domains with 3 inboxes each for most campaigns. We'll scope the right number based on your ICP size and sending goals.

What if my existing domains are already burned?

We'll run a health check. If they're burned, we retire them and start fresh with new domains. If they're borderline, we can sometimes rehabilitate them with a modified warmup protocol.

Do you use a warmup tool like Instantly or Warmbox?

We use our own warmup infrastructure. Third-party warmup tools recycle the same inbox pools, which inbox providers have started flagging. Our network is private and purpose-built.
